Cindy is a wife to a professional engineer and gaming geek, mother to two wonderful kids who are spontaneous, sarcastic and creative geniuses and caretaker of their rescued greyhound, Nala. Upon the arrival of her first born, she began her journey as a “stay-at-home-mom”. During the first year, Cindy was inspired to live a creative life through scrapbooking. From there, she's been enjoying the art of documenting the everyday awesomeness of her family through the lens and on pretty pattern paper and mixing it up with metal and fire.

She spent most of her childhood traveling from coast to coast throughout the US during her father's military years. Surrounded by a diverse nation, Cindy endured the life she lived and appreciated the diversity of her surroundings. Her love of art began at a very young age, when she learned how to sew her own outfits, taught by her mother to molding ceramic vessels out of clay. Inspired by her grandfather's love for photography, Cindy captured snippets of her family life through the lens of a Kodak Star 110. During her years in grade school and college experience, she expanded and broaden her creativity through photography, painting and portrait drawings.

In 2006, Cindy began stringing necklaces and making earrings with glass beads and gemstones for herself and friends. Then decided to expand her hobby into a business, where CT2 Designs was born. With a few metalsmithing classes under her wings, Cindy is a self-taught jewelry designer and metalsmith. Her jewelry is handcrafted using a mix of brass and copper metals, including ECO friendly sterling silver, argentium and gold. She is inspired by natures organic life, the movement of objects and architectural aspects of design.

For Cindy, the process of transforming wire and sheet metal into wearable art is exceptionally gratifying, which shows through her design aesthetics; telling the story using simple details, giving each piece its own uniqueness.

Cindy also continues to create memories through documenting every day life through scrapbooking. Her design style is random with simple, geometric and linear details. Each page Cindy creates is embellished with pops of color, texture and detail. Currently, Cindy designs for Gossamer Blue and PageMaps and has designed for several scrapbook companies in the industry, with 11+years teaching experience as a scrapbook instructor. She's a former Garden Girl and Creating Keepsakes 2007 Hall of Fame Honorable Mention. Cindy's layout designs have been published in numerous magazines, such as, Scrapbook Trends, Handmade, Legacy, Creating Keepsakes, Memory Makers, Scrapbooks Etc. and more.
